dropline | package list | packages | build scripts

Note: Diffie has done a great job, and has built all of the packages in much less time than it has taken me. Go take a look at that. The most important thing that is left after that is my extras directory.

Daga is attempting to port the Dropline build system to take advantage of the 64-bit processor. The packages are modified (only if needed) and built on a system running Slamd64. New packages and build scripts are then uploaded automatically with a custom update.sh script.

The "package list" link above contains a list of packages that have been built (and ones waiting to be built) in the installation order. File sizes are included in human-readable formats, and links to available .md5 files are also provided.

If you simply click on the "packages" link, you will see all of the packages and .md5 files lumped into one directory. Nothing special is done to format the list. The packages are the same as those listed in the "package list" link, and do contain the build scripts in the tarballs.

"build scripts" is the build-script directory that was used to create the packages. Changes to the original scripts will be sent to the development mailing-list [eventually].

If you like what you see here, you might also be interested in Daga's live-cd, which was dubbed "The Backpack Programmer's LiveCD" and is based on Slackware and Dropline Gnome.
